Monday 26 October
5pm - Hocus Pocus (PG)
Three delightfully wicked witches are back from the dead on Halloween night, and it's up to an intrepid trio of kids and a cursed cat to stop them before the clock strikes midnight!
Gates open from 4.30pm. Ends approx 6.40pm
7.45pm - Mamma Mia (PG)
Unleash your inner Dancing Queen! Transport yourself to a sunny Greek island for an evening of romance, chaos, and ABBA classics.
Gates open 7pm. Ends approx 9.30pm
(This screening was postponed from 12 September. Current Ticketholders - your original tickets will automatically grant you entry on the new date. Simply show your current digital or printed ticket at the gates.)
Event Details
- Venue: Cyfarthfa Park (event is on the sloped area adjacent to the lake)
- Tickets are £5 per person per film (including booking fees). Parking is an additional £5 per car.
If you can, please consider safely walking, wheeling, or cycling to the event. It's a great way to enjoy the park from the moment you arrive, and helps us keep the area welcoming and accessible for everyone.
Parking: Cyfarthfa Park has strict capacity on vehicle numbers. To manage traffic, keep hosting events safely and guarantee a spot for everyone, parking spaces for this event are £5 per car and must be pre-booked online. We encourage car-sharing where possible. Please use the main car park next to the Bothy. To help keep everyone safe, please do not park on the drives. If you have additional access requirements please let us know when you book your tickets. Limited parking for Blue Badge holders will be available in the car park next to the front gates.
Access: The event is on the sloped area adjacent to the lake, so please take care when accessing the area. If you need a flatter route, please drop off at the miniature railway near the main entrance. Entrance to the park will be strictly for ticket-holders only.
Food: Food and drink will be available from local vendors. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, but please note no glassware or BBQs are allowed.
What to Bring:
There will be no chairs or seating provided.
To make sure you have the cosiest experience, don’t forget to pack:
- Camping chairs, or a thick picnic blanket if you intend to sit on the ground.
- Warm layers (it gets chilly once the sun goes down!)
- Waterproof layers and / or an umbrella – right now the forecast is looking encouraging, but the event will go ahead rain or shine so please do come prepared.
- As this event takes place after dark, additional lighting has been installed around the event area for added safety. However, having a phone light or small torch available for personal use might be helpful for navigating the site when the sun goes down
Check the forecast: This is an outdoor event, so please dress and prepare for whatever the weather decides to do! The event will go ahead in wet weather and will only be postponed if conditions make the event unsafe. Keep an eye on our social media where we'll update on any changes.
Pets: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
